Getting to Know You Blog Hop

 Hello.

First of all, I apologise for this being late (I will show you the reason later in the post).  I was very excited when fellow JD teamie Marion tagged me to do this challenge.  I was probably a little bit hesitant too, as some of my friends know I don't share/write a lot when I post (I have all this stuff going around in my head about what I will write and then I sit down and then nothin! seriously!).

Ok, so here is the deal....you have to answer 5 questions about yourself and then tag another crafty person that you are inspired by.  I was tagged by my fellow JD teamie Marion, and I thought I would keep it in the family (so to speak) and tag our head honcho Jane.  I so admire her passion, and talent and being able to juggle her business and family (I know it is tough sometimes) but she just keeps on keepin on (like those everyready bunnies LOL!)

On to the questions...

1.What creative projects are you currently working on?

I am not working on anything paper related at the moment (waiting for my new JD stamps to arrive actually),  BUT I do have several crochet project happening (simultaneously of course!).  I am making a throw for my bed, and I have two baby blankets to make for twin boys....here are some quick pics...

2.What inspires your designs?

I am inspired by other peoples designs and creativity (nothing like sitting at the computer first thing in the morning with a lovely cup of tea and cruising all of your favourite blogs to see what everyone is up to).  Of course pinterest is a great source of inspiration too.

3.What method / process (if applicable) do you apply to each of your creative projects, and how long does each project take to complete?

I think alot about what I am going to do before I sit down to create.  This way when I get the chance to make the card, I have everything sorted in my head.  Of course, as everyone knows, it doesn't always come out the way you think it will LOL!  But I find I don't sit and play around for any length of time,  if something doesn't work I leave it and go and think about it some more.  It usually takes no more than an hour to make a card, but most times I can get one done in about 10 minutes, it depends on what techniques I use (colouring and fussy cutting takes longer) AND I leave everyting to the last minute (my husband said I should change the name of my blog to lastminute.com LOL)

4.If you had to describe your 'signature' style, what would it be?

My style is clean and simple, and a little bit cute.  I like graphic but have trouble doing it.

5. What are 3 crafting products/tools you can't live without?

Cutting bee scissors, dies and copics.  Of course there are alot of other goodies that I love, but these are the 3 that I couldn't live without.

I thought I would leave you with some crafty creations from some of my favourite designers... (I have to stress the fact that these are just SOME of the wonderful designers out there.  This would be a very long post if I posted all of my favs LOL!)

ALL those words in one post Ange, how wonderful to learn just a little more about how you tick, what a real treat for us. I laughed out loud when I read your hubby's comment, I think 'lastminute.com' is taken but I'm sure we could work something out lol. And BTW, I'm totally humbled that you included me in your list, because I think that I pin nearly every card you make, you are a genius and an inspiration!
